The Orphan Child Project aims to teach English to children in Orphanages and poverty stricken areas in and around Sri Lanka. We believe that the quality of education a person receives in early life is indispensable in bringing out that person’s potential, and that all children should have access to quality learning and care.
Hope through Education
“I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” Stephen Grellet

Christmas Party - Kids at Sneha
The
Street Child Project is planning a Christmas Party for the children at
Sneha Child Centre. The older kids would soon be leaving the orphanage
as they need to attend school starting January, and have to be placed in
different homes geared for older orphans. Currently, Sneha cares for
orphans below the age of 6. This will be our goodbye/farewell party as
well, as the courts and Child Probation Services are unwilling to reveal
information of children once they leave a particular orphange. There
are 12 children. The cost per child will be 400LKR. If anyone is
interested in sponsoring 1 child, contact us by email on thestreetchildproject@gmail.com or message us on
FB.
