Sneha Child Development Centre
The Street Child Project is happy to annouce it has taken on its second task for the year 2014. We will be teaching English to children aged 4 and 5 at the Sneha Child Development Centre. The Sneha Child Development Centre in Colombo 4 was inaugurated on 25th November 1971. The centre houses orphans between the ages of 1 and 5. There is a pre-school and a fully equipped playground on the premises. A day care centre was built in 2004 for children from low income families in the neighbourhood, in order for parents to go out to work and make a living knowing their kids are in safe hands.
